Friday and Saturday, February 5 and 6, 2010

General Information and Schedule

Darrow's February conferences are a great opportunity to meet with your son's or daughter's teachers, tutor, and/or advisor to get a status report and discuss any areas of concern you may have.

• Conference meeting slots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so your timely response will aid us in maximizing the schedule for each day. Please fill out the registration form below or submit a paper copy, and return it no later than Friday, January 22.
• A list of your son's or daughter's teachers was part of the recent mailing. Although efforts were made to include up-to-date schedules, second-semester class changes can still happen during the add-drop period of the first two weeks of the semester. Please check with your son or daughter for updates.
• Once the meeting times are determined, you will be notified of your scheduled appointments. Please be prompt for your first session so that the schedule can be maintained throughout the day.

3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Registration, Common Room, Wickersham

3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. Parent-Teacher Conferences, Heyniger Memorial Library

6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.  Parent-Teacher Conferences, Heyniger Memorial Library

6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Character Development: "A Team Approach" Bethards, Wickersham Marjie Needham, Simon Holzapfel and Nancy Wolf address how character development is integrated into the many facets of a Darrow student's educational experience.

 Saturday, February 6

8:00 a.m.-9:00 a.m.  Hot breakfast, Dairy Barn Dining Room

8:00 a.m. Registration opens, Heyniger Memorial Library

8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Parent-Teacher Conferences, Heyniger Memorial Library

11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.  Lunch, Dairy Barn Dining Room

 A student art show will be on display in the Joline Arts Center throughout the weekend.

Please note:

• The mid­winter travel form is due no later than January 22, 20109, to Julie Colello.
• Students may depart after their final obligation.
• Students must check out of the dorm with a dorm parent AND must check out with the AOD when leaving campus (even if leaving with a parent).
• Students must return from break by 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 15.
