Columbia County, NY, and nearby Berkshire County, MA, are premier cultural destinations. Tanglewood, the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, Williamstown Theater Festival, Shakespeare & Company, Berkshire Theater Festival, and Barrington Stage are just a few of the summer performing opportunities located within 45 minutes of the School. The Clark Art Museum, Williams College Museum, MASS MoCA, the Norman Rockwell Museum, and the Berkshire Museum are also just a short drive away. New England villages, like Stockbridge and Lenox, MA, Chatham, NY, and our own New Lebanon, boast first-rate restaurants, intimate cafes, and well-known galleries.
