Darrow Faculty and Students Join Pittsfield Rally

On Saturday, January 7, 2017, several Darrow students and faculty members participated in the Four Freedoms Coalition Rally in Pittsfield, MA. More than 1,000 people marched along the downtown streets and listened to speeches by local community organizers and elected officials. The coalition takes its name from the four freedoms outlined in a speech to Congress by President Franklin Roosevelt in 1941, and was formed in the wake of racially charged incidents during last year's presidential campaign.
