Join Us for the 2017 Darrow Film and Animation Festival

December 2 event features 12 films by students and is open to the public

On Saturday, December 2, at 7:30 p.m., the members of Darrow's Introduction to Film and Animation classes will showcase their work at the 2017 Darrow School Film and Animation Festival.

According to film teacher Patrick Toole, the festival will include short live-action and animated films written, produced, and filmed by students. A total of 12 shorts will be featured, including thrillers, comedies, silent films, teaser trailers for nonexistent grind-house features, LegoTM robot battles, and much more.

The festival begins at 7:30 p.m. and runs for approximately 80 minutes with no intermission.  At the conclusion, student filmmakers will host a Q & A session with the audience.

This festival will be held in the Darrow School Theater, in the Dairy Barn building, on the school's campus at 110 Darrow Road, New Lebanon, N.Y.  The film festival is free and open to the public.
