2016 Darrow Narrative Film Festival
Don't miss the star-studded Mountainside movie event of the season!
The stars will shine on the Mountainside on Friday, May 6, at the world premiere of the 2016 Darrow School Narrative Film Festival.
"The festival is a culmination of all the work students have produced in the Spring Narrative Film Production class," said teacher Patrick Toole. "This is the movie event of the season at Darrow and includes more than six student-made short films of different genres ranging from horror, to comedy, to heart-wrenching drama. There will be presentations of documentary-style work from the Darrow Media Team, faculty cameos, bloopers, and other surprises."
The festival includes three showings: Friday, May 6, at 7:30 p.m.;Saturday, May 7, at 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, May 8, at 2:30 p.m. After the Friday and Saturday screenings there will be a question-and-answer session with the cast and crew of the films. Baked goods donated by parents will be on sale during intermission, and DVDs of earlier Darrow films and play productions will also be on sale for a suggested donation. The festival is free and open to the public.
