To say that Darrow is my home is an understatement. I came to Darrow in 2009 as a Biology teacher, and after teaching here for 5 years I found myself walking away with an embarrassment of riches: a group of lifelong friends and memories, a love of working with teenagers and helping them find those miraculous learning moments, a partner who would become my husband and the father of my daughter, and an enduring connection to the people and values that make this school so transformative. After experiencing several other academic roles at different institutions, I am so happy to find myself right back within the community that has become my family. Over the past couple years, I've been working on building health and wellness programming for teenagers, and I'm excited to bring my passion for these topics to Darrow.
