I grew up and have lived most of my life close to Darrow. I became interested in science at a young age, both from reading James Herriot's books, and from having to say goodbye to my first cat. After that, my life was an exploration of every type of science I could find, interspersed with spending all of my free time training in Cechetti method ballet. It wasn't until I started working at a school and had a child of my own that I started thinking about education and realized my passion for it specifically science education. My hobbies are knitting, baking, hiking, yoga, and exploring the natural world.
