Our Admissions Office is likely your first point of contact with The Darrow School, and we can’t wait to get to know you. In the meantime, here’s a little about us:
Director of Admission and Enrollment Management
Nicholas Forcier received his master's degree from Stony Brook University and earned his bachelor's degree at SUNY College at Oneonta. Originally from Oregon, he has spent the last 20 years living in the Northeast, in both New York and Vermont. As an admission officer for Binghamton University and then Bennington College, he traveled all over the world (42 countries) to talk to students about higher education in the United States. He studied social sciences in college and graduate school, and wrote his graduate thesis on the use of non-state actors in achieving foreign policy objectives.
Associate Director of Admission
Originally from "just outside of Boston," I attended college in the idyllic town of Middlebury, VT. I also attended college in Waltham, MA, and Athens, Greece. I spent my freshman year at a private boarding school in Groton, MA, graduated from my local public school, and even did an exchange program in Bologna, Italy. Suffice to say; I think finding the right school is like putting together a puzzle, and I LOVE puzzles. I live in Castleton with my husband, Ryan (we just got married this year!) and our dog Brady.
Sarah is new to the Admissions team but not to Darrow. After graduating in 2011, Sarah went off to receive her B.S in Health Sciences, only to realize her love for working in the education field. Since college, Sarah worked in rural schools in South Carolina only to return to the Mountainside for the 2018-2019 school year. Sarah will be working alongside our Admissions team and primarily with our Admissions Ambassadors program and Day Students.
Lorrie is a longtime member of the Admission team and, as Registrar of the School, she works closely with the College Guidance Office. As the first person many families meet when they come to Admissions, she is a key organizer and keeper of information. A native of Berkshire County, Lorrie earned her bachelor of science degree from Westfield State College. She enjoys days in the office assisting colleagues and families alike.
