As the Office of Admissions, it's our mission to seek the next generation of students who would benefit from the transformative Darrow experience. As we are likely Darrow's first point of contact, we can't wait to get to know you. In the meantime, here's a little about us:

Vince is a veteran of private education with over 20 years of experience. He earned his Masters in Leadership Guidance and Counseling from Eastern Michigan University and started his career as a counselor at therapeutic boarding schools in Georgia and Massachusetts. As he progressed, he joined the Admissions and Marketing team and became an Admissions Director in Delaware in 2006. Vince's talent led him to work at Wilderness Therapeutic programs in Idaho and Utah, as well as a specialized boarding school in Connecticut, where he worked as both Counselor and Admissions for twelve years.
Vince has extensive experience working with modern family and student dynamics, has a keen sense of community and cooperation, and has a genuine passion for boarding school culture. In his free time, Vince enjoys various sports activities such as hiking, running, and badminton. He is also a proud uncle to three nieces and lives on campus with his partner, Dave, and two cats, Henry and Isabel.

Kristopher Magargal

I grew up in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, and attended local catholic schools. Later, I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of New Haven in Connecticut and eventually went on to earn a Master's degree from Northeastern University in Boston. Education and Athletics are my passions, and I am lucky to come from a family that values both. I'm thrilled to continue to help students find their path to academic and athletic success.

I grew up in the heart of the Berkshires and had the privilege of experiencing a mountainside education. I attended public schools in the area and went on local field trips to learn about the Shaker Heritage. After completing high school, I earned a bachelor of arts degree at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and played volleyball. As a new member of Darrow, I am excited to help students join our community and find their place here, just like I did.

I have been a part of the Admission team for over seventeen years. I also work as a Registrar, collaborating closely with the College Counseling Office and the Director of Studies. I take pleasure in assisting colleagues and families who come to visit. Being a native of Berkshire County, I like to spend my leisure time with my family and my dog.
