🍂 The Heyniger Library looking especially stunning (with a shiny new roof!) this fall— the perfect place to study, read, or just take in the colors of campus. The Historic Shaker building was repurposed and named in honor of former and first Headmaster Charles Heyniger, it now stands as a centerpiece of learning and history on campus — blending Darrow’s Shaker heritage with its academic life.📚🍁

Meet Antonio Anderson — Director of Basketball Operations and Head Coach of Darrow’s Boys AAA Basketball Team. A Lynn, MA native and former University of Memphis standout under Coach John Calipari, Coach Tone helped lead the Tigers to the 2008 NCAA Final Four and is the only player in program history with 1,000+ points, 500 rebounds, and 500 assists.
Now entering his third season at Darrow, Coach Anderson has transformed the program into one of the top prep programs in the country. After finishing his first year unranked, he guided the team to an incredible top-10 national ranking in year two, peaking as high as #5 in the country and earning a National Prep Championship Sweet 16 appearance.
Under his leadership, Darrow Basketball has become one of the nation’s premier prep programs, known for its culture of discipline, growth, and player development — where student-athletes rise to meet their potential both on the court and in the classroom.

Meet the Darrow Basketball Coaching Staff!
Brandon West is the Associate Head Coach of Darrow’s AAA Basketball Team!
A Roxbury, MA native and former collegiate player, he brings over a decade of high-level coaching and player development experience to the Ducks.
Before joining Darrow last season, Coach West has helped build elite prep programs throughout NEPSAC, and currently serves as a Director for BABC—recognized as the nation’s top grassroots program in 2025.
Coach West has extensive player development experience in both the National Basketball Association and with USA Basketball, along with time spent scouting at the NBA level. Over his career, he’s trained and mentored athletes who’ve advanced to Division I programs, overseas professional leagues, and the NBA.
At Darrow, Coach West leads recruiting, player development, and off-court support—bringing presence, honesty, and championship-level standards to everything he does.
