The relationship between advisors, dorm parents, faculty, students, and families is a cornerstone of the Darrow experience. Faculty and staff frequently communicate with families through letters, e-mails, and phone calls and ensure there is always a way to reach them. The Dean of Students communicates weekly by sending a weekly community newsletter, and the school's website and Darrow social media provide a comprehensive view of everything happening on campus.

Darrow Dorm Parents are responsible for everyday dormitory operations, ensuring students live safely and comfortably. They promote community by communicating with each other and student leaders. Dorm Parents maintain a safe and supportive environment for all students. They hold students accountable while recognizing their unique qualities and strengths.
