M.A.: Psychology with a Concentration in Cognition and Learning, Goddard College (2013)

Betsy Feathers joined the Darrow faculty in 2023 and serves as the Director of Learning Skills. She brings 25 years of experience in small educational settings where her role has ranged from grant writer to president of the board. She has worked with students of all ages as a classroom teacher, academic coach, advocate, and liaison between independent and public schools for families navigating the process of determining if their child is eligible for special education services. Her breadth of experience contributes to her ability to settle into a school quickly and her love of Darrow inspires her to contribute to the community in as many ways as she can. In addition to her position in Learning Skills, Betsy also serves as one of the Administrators on Duty (AOD) giving her the opportunity to develop relationships with every student which brings her tremendous joy.

Betsy has lived in the area for 30 years, has two adult children of whom she could not be more proud, loves birds of all kinds but especially chickens, and has a fondness for complicated, high-strung dogs
