Doug Corriveau serves as the Chemistry and Biology teacher at Darrow. Over the past seven years as a science educator, he has brought his passion for exploration, problem-solving, and experiential learning to the classroom. His instruction emphasizes both a solid foundation in scientific knowledge and the importance of “finding the fun” in discovery. By valuing questions as much as answers, he helps students gain confidence in their scientific curiosity. His teaching philosophy centers on connecting concepts to students’ lives and interests, using real-world applications, hands-on experiments, and current scientific developments to make science feel meaningful. He believes curiosity and adaptability are critical skills for a fast-changing world. Degrees—BA Communication Arts, Emerson College; MS Psychology, Capella University.
