Ph.D (ABD) in English, University at Albany Emma Post is currently finishing her Ph.D in English at the University at Albany. A longtime educator, she served as a Director at Flying Deer Nature Center and as Executive and Program Director at the Chris Wilson Foundation, where she designed and implemented a trauma-informed critical race theory and reentry program for youth and adults in detentions, jails, and prisons in NY, NJ, and MD.
She is passionate about bringing social-emotional wellness and nature-based practices, as well as creative writing and expressive arts into the English classroom. |
